Andrea Voros, ROHP

My study in orthomolecular health through the International College of Natural health began in 2014. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Physiotherapy and working as a registered physiotherapist for about 5 years, I found there to be a critical missing link during the rehabilitation healing process: nutrition. My background as a physiotherapist gives me knowledge and a deep understanding of pathologies, the complex rehabilitation healing process and the importance of biochemistry relating to these health issues. My practice as an ROHP focuses on nutrition relating to healing post injury or surgery, weight management, and nutritional support for degenerative diseases (arthritis, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, RA, etc.) and neurological diseases (MS, Parkinson’s disease, etc).

Methods of treatment can include education, nutritional assessment, detox programs, supplement protocols, and meal planning. I believe that the power of knowledge is essential in making positive changes to support a healthy life. My passion is sharing my knowledge and support people in making wiser health decision so they may live a long, healthy and energized life.

My disciplines of study include:

Natural Therapies
A wide range of therapeutic services used in combination with the primary goal of supporting and stimulating the body’s natural healing ability.
Nutritional Specialities
A wide range of services using Whole foods in therapeutic combination with the primary goal of supporting and stimulating the body’s natural healing ability.
Regulated Professions
To practise as a regulated health professional , an individual must be a member of the regulatory college for his or her chosen profession, and hold a certificate of registration from the college. Regulated health providers are required by law to deliver competent, ethical and professional services, and are accountable to the public through their respective colleges.
